A poison arrow pierced me
Festering anger turned to hate
For decades it sat there
Pulsing ill will
Festering anger turned to hate
For decades it sat there
Pulsing ill will
When finally pulled free
By a hand of loving kindness
I saw that it gleamed
Its tip a diamond vajra
And meditating on a hollow
Burned out by a candle’s flame
I looked in all directions
And saw my only step
Each footprint in the sand
Each moment of good intent
Is followed through wisdom
And compassion
Who am I to walk this path?
This troubled shell craving hope
Glimpsing time and space
And Emptiness
By a hand of loving kindness
I saw that it gleamed
Its tip a diamond vajra
And meditating on a hollow
Burned out by a candle’s flame
I looked in all directions
And saw my only step
Each footprint in the sand
Each moment of good intent
Is followed through wisdom
And compassion
Who am I to walk this path?
This troubled shell craving hope
Glimpsing time and space
And Emptiness
